NPO法人ジャパンカリブ協会（通称：CARIB JP）は、カリブ海の魅力に心を打たれ、30年近くにわたり交流を続けてきたメンバーを中心に設立されました。
私たちは、日本とカリブ諸国、とくにトリニダード・トバゴをはじめとするカリブ共同体（CARICOM）加盟国との文化交流・観光振興・相互理解の推進を目指し、日本唯一のカリブ海専門NPOとして活動しています。
カリブ海の音楽、ダンス、料理、歴史、多様性豊かな文化は、日本ではまだあまり知られていません。私たちは、その奥深い魅力を正確かつ情熱的に伝えることで、「遠くて近い」関係を築きたいと願っています。
また、災害支援や国際協力、日本文化の紹介など、双方向の交流を通じて、世界がより平和で調和のとれた場所になることを目指しています。

About us
Japan Caribbean Association (NPO CARIB JP) was founded by members who have been captivated by the culture of the Caribbean for nearly 30 years.
We are the only nonprofit organization in Japan specializing in the Caribbean, with a mission to promote cultural exchange, tourism, and mutual understanding between Japan and the Caribbean nations—especially Trinidad and Tobago and other CARICOM member states.
The Caribbean’s rich diversity in music, dance, cuisine, history, and heritage remains largely unfamiliar in Japan. We strive to change that by passionately and accurately sharing its beauty, and by building meaningful cultural bridges across oceans.
Through international cooperation, disaster relief, and the introduction of Japanese culture in the Caribbean, we aim to foster a more peaceful and harmonious global society.
Our main activities include
- Collecting and disseminating information about Caribbean countries
- Promoting Caribbean culture (Music, Food, Arts, etc.)
- Organizing international cultural exchange programs and events
- Introducing Japanese culture to the Caribbean region
- And other related activities necessary to achieve our goals
